The True Origins of Garda Security

It IRATES me when media and Garda World fail to mention the true origins of Garda Security; so just to set the record straight , here鈥檚 the short summary story.

Jacques H. Denis, my very long time friend, councillor, mentor and my adopted Godfather, now circa 87 years old and doing well for his age had started Garda Quebec in 1977, as founder and president; to primarily protect some of Montreal鈥檚 heavy weight rich icons; which then spiralled into a most respected Canadian company. Garda Quebec commenced with 5 employees and ramped up to circa 2800 employees when they sold out to a certain St茅phane Cr茅tier owner of Trans Canada Security. Cretier then along with Garda Qu茅bec rolled over to Garda World, a public company, in December 1999. The rest is history and kudos to Cretier to propel Garda into a world leader.

I was there to witness this historic moment but some people are too proud to mention and credit the people who sacrificed their lives to build a Quebec flagship; after all, how many people do you know that have experienced such a Patrimoine Qu茅becois ( fleuron )?
